This collection of pieces all use unique techniques to symbolise a river cutting through nature and all its stages, such as the fast crashing as it begins to pick up speed, grinding the rocky river bed. This is contrasted by a somewhat calmer scene where the river is only a stream slowly and gently following the natural path of the forest floor. Overall, in this collection, Milo captures the development and motion in a river that flows through nature.
